Fee and payment terms · Accessibility
The seminar is a flat fee per parent, payable at registration. Mediation is billed hourly, including preparation and the drafting of any agreement, and is divided equally between the parties unless an order directs otherwise. Parenting coordination is billed hourly against a retainer held for each party and allocated as the order of appointment directs.
Each party is billed separately and receives their own itemised statement showing time by task. No party is told what the other has paid, and non-payment by one party is not reported to the other.
A deposit is taken at scheduling and credited against the session. Cancellation with less than two business days' notice forfeits the deposit unless the cancellation is for a safety reason or a court-ordered change of date.
Where a party is found indigent and the case qualifies, the seminar and mediation are compensated from the Divorcing Parent Education and Mediation Fund under Supreme Court Rule 38 at the rates set by the Administrative Office of the Courts, and that party pays nothing for those services. Parenting coordination is not compensated from that fund.

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Colour is never the only carrier of meaning: the words REQUIRED and WHEN ORDERED accompany every blue and amber marker, and the case timeline has a full text equivalent beneath it. All forms are operable by keyboard alone, every field has a persistent visible label, and errors are announced in text rather than by colour.
Motion is limited to a single timeline animation on first view, and it is rendered complete without animation where the browser requests reduced motion.
For sessions: materials in large print, captioned video sessions, ASL and spoken language interpreters, wheelchair-accessible in-person locations, and additional breaks. Ask at registration so arrangements are in place beforehand.
If any part of this site or any session is not accessible to you, telephone (931) 650-4058 and the material will be provided in another form.
