A Parenting Coordinator's primary goal is to help parents manage their parenting plan, improve communications, and work through conflict.
The course begins with group classes and moves into one-on-one sessions with the Parenting Coordinator. This is typically a ten week program where you and the Parenting Coordinator focus on many topics including:
Learn to shift your identity from ex-spouse/partner to co-parent for the benefit of your child.
Learn what impact your parental conflict has on your child and the best ways to minimize harm.
Learn to take an inward look to identify your own contributions to conflict and learns to increase your impulse control.
Learn about strategies for anger management, communication, and conflict resolution. Grasp the issues your children face in a divorce.
